  1. FREE PERIOD FOR DOMESTIC SALES FOR MILL BUYERS W.E.F. 12.1.2012.
    Quantity Free Period
    Upto 999 bales 15 days from the date of contract
    1000 bales & above 30 days from the date of contract
  2. FREE PERIOD FOR SALES TO COTTON TRADERS & EXPORTERS AGAINST FORM ‘H’ W.E.F 12.1.2012.
    Quantity Free Period
    1500 bales & above 30 days from the date of contract
    * The minimum offer quantity for sale to Cotton Traders or sale against ‘H’ form (for export of cotton) would be 1500 b/s.
  3. DEPOSIT MONEY W.E.F. 12.1.2012:
    1. Buyers will have to pay within 5 days excluding the date of contract, a minimum amount of 15% of the value of cotton towards Deposit.
    2. In case of GSF facility, Mill Buyers would be required to pay additional deposit of 10% of the value of cotton over and above the deposit as stated at (a) above.
  4. CARRYING CHARGES W.E.F. 12.1.2012

    After expiry of the free period, the Buyer would be required to pay carrying charges @ 1.40% per month for first 30 days and thereafter @ 1.60% per month per 30 days on monthly rest basis till the delivery of the cotton.

     

  5. LIFTING OF COTTON

    The Buyer will have to lift the cotton within the free delivery period. In case the Buyer wants the Corporation to carry the cotton on his behalf beyond the free delivery period, he will have to make a written request to the Corporation and make advance payment of carrying charges. General:
  1. While giving Offers Buyers should give their offers for specific variety, Branch and Quantity.
  2. Offers received upto 5.00 p.m. will only be considered for the day. Offers received after the due time shall automatically lapse. In such cases, Buyers need to give fresh offers next day.
  3. All offers received during the day shall be considered together in P&S Committee Meeting after 5.30 p.m.
  4. Acceptance of counters should be communicated by 11.30 Hour the following day.
  5. The Corporation reserves its rights to accept offer either in full or in part entirely at its sole discretion.
